Rather predictable result when twelfth ranked Palanga (4-7) won against at home bottom-ranked KTU (2-9) 79-75. Palanga made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Strangely KTU outrebounded Palanga 36-19 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was center Nerijus Barauskas (207-92) who scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Augustas Suliauskas (180-95) chipped in 16 points and 8 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Martynas Zigmantavicius (187-96) produced 14 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and Mindaugas Motuzas (202-96) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Palanga moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Delikatesas and Jonava. KTU at the other side stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Palanga's next round opponent will be Delikatesas (#11) in Joniskis.
