An interesting game for Kumamoto V. (10-5) which hosted in Kumamoto second-ranked Gunma (8-7). Third ranked Kumamoto V. had an easy win 98-78. Kumamoto V. shot 63.3 percent from the field. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) who scored 26 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Yuji Kanbara (183-89) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kumamoto V. have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 10-5 record having just one point less than leader Kanazawa Sam. Gunma at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
