Very expected game in Taiyuan where 13th ranked Brave Dragons (2-4) were defeated by seventh ranked Beijing Ducks (4-2) 113-103 on Friday. Beijing Ducks made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Beijing Ducks had a 36-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Aaron Jackson (190-86, college: Duquesne) scored 24 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Xiaochuan Zhai (205-93) chipped in 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Beijing Ducks players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Argentinian-Spanish power forward Luis Scola (206-80) with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds and American point guard Brandon Jennings (185-89) scored 21 points and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Beijing Ducks have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Brave Dragons lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with four games lost. Beijing Ducks' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beijing to the arena Fly Dragons.
