The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: Dinamo Tbilisi (#1) and Mgzavrebi (#7). Dinamo Tbilisi (5-0) smashed visiting Mgzavrebi (2-5) by 16 points 80-64. They outrebounded Mgzavrebi 44-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American center Kiel Turpin (213-89, college: Florida St.) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Serbian forward Nikola Gacesa (206-87, college: TCU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four Dinamo Tbilisi players scored in double figures. International Kakhaber Jintcharadze (195-93) produced 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Cameroonian forward Bertrand Nkali (206-92, college: Houston) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dinamo Tbilisi have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 5-0 record. Mgzavrebi at the other side keeps the seventh place with five games lost.
