We should mention about the upset which took place in Prostejov, where higher ranked NH Ostrava (3-4) lost to tenth ranked BK Olomoucko (4-4) in a road game 84-92 on Saturday. BK Olomoucko looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by NH Ostrava's players. The best player for the winners was American JC Fuller (196-94, college: W.Illinois, agency: Slash Sports) who scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import forward Charles Mitchell (203-93, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. BK Olomoucko's coach Predrag Benacek allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Evan Payne (185-93, college: Long Beach St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) produced 19 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian swingman Milic Blagojevic (200-91) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BK Olomoucko have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Usti n/Labem and Svitavy. Loser NH Ostrava dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. BK Olomoucko will face BK Pardubice (#8) on the road in the next round. NH Ostrava will play against Basketbal Svitavy and hope to win that game.
