No shocking result in a game when second ranked Djurgarden (9-1) beat 6th ranked Malbas (3-6) in Malmo 72-68 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for British-Nigerian Oladapo Ayuba (198-86, college: UMKC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Brandon Barton (192-88, agency: Diamond Sports) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four Djurgarden players scored in double figures. Antiguan-American point guard Jermelle Fraser (186-87, college: SUNY Maritime) answered with 20 points and 6 assists and forward Gustav Claesson (197-97) added 20 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Malbas. The victory was the third consecutive win for Djurgarden. They maintain second place with 9-1 record having just one point less than leader Koping Stars. Loser Malbas keep the sixth position with six games lost. Djurgarden will face LF Future (#9) in Lulea in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Malbas will play on the road against Trelleborg and hope to win that game.
