Another interesting game for Brose Baskets (5-3) which hosted in Bamberg against 4th placed Deutsche Bank Skyliners (6-3). Eighth ranked Brose Baskets won 75-67. They made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Serbian Luka Mitrovic (204-93) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and international guard Maodo Lo (191-92, college: Columbia) chipped in 14 points. Four Brose Baskets players scored in double figures. Brose Baskets' coach Andrea Trinchieri allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was New Zealand guard Tai-Jack Webster (193-95, college: Nebraska) with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian-British guard Philip Scrubb (191-92) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Defending champion moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Telekom Bsk. Deutsche Bank Skyliners at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with EWE Baskets. Brose Baskets will play against league's leader Bayern Muenchen on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will play against ratiopharm Ulm (#10) and hope to get back on the winning track.
