Regular Season Round 15: Toyotsu FE - Shinshu BW 63-62

Important game to mention about took place in Nagoya. Fifth ranked Toyotsu FE (8-7) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Shinshu BW (8-7) 63-62 in the game for the second place. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Herbert Hill (208-84, college: Providence) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Josh Hawkinson (208-95, college: Washington St.) accounted for 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Four Toyotsu FE players scored in double figures. American center Nick Washburn (208-91, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) came up with 16 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Takei Hiroaki (182-91) added 17 points respectively for Shinshu BW in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Toyotsu FE have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Shinshu BW. Shinshu BW lost fourth consecutive game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
