Very predictable result in Salzburg where sixth ranked Blackbirds (5-4) defeated 11th ranked BBU S. (1-8) 59-51. It was a good game for guard Manuel Jandrasits (185-87) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Philipp Horvath (175-87) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Blackbirds' coach Daniel Muellner allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Spanish forward Guillermo Sanchez (200-91) answered with 26 points and 5 rebounds and Slovenian forward Luka Milovac (194-94) added 12 points in the effort for BBU S.Blackbirds moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Flames. BBU S. lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with eight games lost. Blackbirds' next round opponent will be higher ranked Lions (#4) in Dornbirn and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BBU S. will play on the road against Raiders (#7) in Villach and hope to win that game.
