The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Cyberdyne IR (9-7) in Tsukuba on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Kumamoto V. (11-5) 85-69. Nigerian forward Chukwudiebere Maduabum (206-91) answered with 15 points and 6 rebounds and guard Atsunobu Hirao (178-89) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Cyberdyne IR. Cyberdyne IR's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Kumamoto V. have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain third place with 11-5 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Fukuoka Rizing. Cyberdyne IR at the other side dropped to the second position with seven games lost. Kumamoto V. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Cyberdyne IR will play again at home against Kumamoto V. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
