Regular Season Round 9: J.Hradec - USK Praha 72-77

Bottom-ranked BK Lions Hradec is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to fourth ranked USK Praha (5-3) 77-72. Finnish power forward Alexander Madsen (208-95) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and international swingman Michal Mares (193-92) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. Five USK Praha players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Jiri Soula (189-95) with 24 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and power forward Stanislav Zuzak (204-80, college: Cal-Irvine) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. BK Lions Hradec's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. USK Praha have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. BK Lions Hradec at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. USK Praha will play against NH Ostrava (#7) at home in the next round. BK Lions Hradec will play against BK Decin (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
