Very expected game when 7th ranked L.M.Mons. (2-10) was defeated on the road by third ranked Rapido (6-5) 77-72 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was American guard Shaquilla Curtis (175, college: American) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists. Taimy Martinez chipped in 29 points and 9 rebounds. Four Rapido players scored in double figures. American guard Diamond Richardson (175-93, college: Ark.-Pine Bluff) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points and 15 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Attirah Munir (185-94, college: Ark.-Pine Bluff) added 21 points and 14 rebounds respectively for the guests. Rapido have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Rapido maintains third position with 6-5 record having six points less than leader Santa Tecla BC. L.M.Mons. lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost.
