Regular Season Round 10: Le Mans - Le Portel 77-63

ProA top team - Le Mans (8-2) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked Le Portel (5-5) 77-63. The game was mostly controlled by Le Mans. Le Portel managed to win fourth quarter 23-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Even 14 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists by American guard Trae Golden (189-91, college: Georgia Tech) did not help to save the game for Le Portel. His fellow American import power forward Franklin Hassell (205-88, college: ODU) added 15 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Le Mans maintains first position with 8-2 record. Loser Le Portel dropped to the ninth place with five games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Le Mans will meet ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#4) on the road in the next round. Le Portel will play against Paris-Levallois (#16) and hope to secure a win.
