Regular Season Round 9: Opava B - Kralovsti sokoli 75-69

The most surprising game was the first loss of Kralovsti sokoli (8-1) on the court of ninth ranked B&W Opava B on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by B&W Opava B 75-69. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Kralovsti sokoli. It was a good game for guard Rostislav Dragoun (190-96) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Center Miroslav Kvapil (202-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. B&W Opava B's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Jan Jiricek (203-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Petr Andres (179-93) added 23 points in the effort for Kralovsti sokoli. B&W Opava B (4-5) moved-up to fifth place in East, which they share with 4 other teams. Kralovsti sokoli at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. B&W Opava B is looking forward to face higher ranked BK Prostejov B (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kralovsti sokoli will play against Sokol Slapanice in Slapnice and is hoping to win this game.
