San Salvador held off Rapido to open win count in the semifinal series. San Salvador made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Cuban Suchitel Avila (184-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 18 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Gabriela Burgos (-97) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Taimy Martinez answered with 33 points (!!!) and American guard Shaquilla Curtis (175, college: American) added 10 points, 17 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals in the effort for Rapido.
