Rather predictable result when fifth ranked BK Loko Plzen (6-4) defeated at home 8th ranked GBA Sparta (2-7) 74-63 on Friday. Guard Jan Zeman (180-95) had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Ondrej Marz (194) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four BK Loko Plzen players scored in double figures. At the losing side Slovakian center Maros Zeliznak (208-99) responded with 9 points and 7 rebounds and guard Marek Welsch (180-99) scored 16 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. BK Loko Plzen maintains fifth position in West with 6-4 record. Loser GBA Sparta keeps the eighth place with seven games lost. BK Loko Plzen will face Sokol Zizkov (#10) in Praha in the next round where they are favorite. GBA Sparta's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Praha Sokol Prazky.
