Regular Season Round 11: Muenster - Hagen-Haspe 95-62

Very expected game when 13th ranked Hagen-Haspe (1-11) was smashed on the road by first ranked Muenster (11-1) 95-62 on Saturday. Muenster made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Hagen-Haspe turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Hagen-Haspe was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Bryce Leavitt (193-94, college: Seattle Pacific) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Stefan Wess (204-94) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American point guard Jeremy Lewis (180-86, college: St.Thomas, TX) answered with 13 points and 5 assists and Maximilian Fouhy (196) added 14 points in the effort for Hagen-Haspe. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Muenster. They maintain first place in West with 11-1 record, which they share with Grevenbroich. Hagen-Haspe lost their eleventh game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Muenster will face Kamp-Lintfort (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hagen-Haspe will play against Duesseldorf and hope to win that game.
