Regular Season Round 9: Eurotrend Biella - Viola RC 82-80

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Eurotrend Biella (7-2) edged at home 9th ranked Viola RC (4-5) 82-80 on Sunday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a good game for American point guard Jazzmarr Ferguson (185-89, college: IU Southeast) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 7 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). British forward Carl Wheatle (196-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Eurotrend Biella players scored in double figures. American forward AJ Pacher (208-92, college: Wright St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 19 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian swingman Agustin Fabi (199-91) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Viola RC. Viola RC's coach Marco Calvani rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Eurotrend Biella moved-up to second place in A2. Loser Viola RC dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Eurotrend Biella will face Givova Scafati (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Viola RC will play against Latina Basket (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
