Regular Season Round 10: Zlin - Pardubice 93-79

Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Pardubice (4-6) was defeated on the road by second ranked SKB Zlin (8-2) 93-79 on Sunday. SKB Zlin made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game, while Pardubice only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Pardubice 38-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. SKB Zlin looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Pardubice was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Georgian guard Zurab Kereselidze (192-97) scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and David Nehoda (193-91) chipped in 27 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four SKB Zlin players scored in double figures. SKB Zlin's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side forward Josef Potocek (196-96) responded with 23 points and point guard Lukas Brozek (180-98) scored 16 points. SKB Zlin have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position in East with 8-2 record behind leader Slavoj Litom. Loser Pardubice dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. SKB Zlin will face B&W Opava B (#5) on the road in the next round. Pardubice will play against Olomouc Bbal and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
