Fourth-ranked MBK Ruzomberok (0-6) gave a tough game to second ranked Good Angels (5-1) on Wednesday. The visitors from Kosice managed to secure only three-point victory 59-56. However their fans expected easier game. Good Angels forced 20 MBK Ruzomberok turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Darxia Morris (172-89, college: UCLA) who scored 14 points. Forward Marta Palenikova (182-92) chipped in 11 points. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Nikola Kovacikova (175-99) who recorded 14 points and Hungarian power forward Bettina Bozoki (191-89) added 5 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Defending Slovakian champion keeps a position of Group B leader. Loser MBK Ruzomberok still closes the standings with six games lost.
