Total League round 10 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader Basket Esch (8-2) against eighth ranked Contern (4-6) 85-79 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Basket Esch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Xavier Ford (201-93, college: Buffalo) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds. The other American import guard Jaylen Bland (190-93, college: Cal-Riverside) contributed with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American power forward Clancy Rugg (203-91, college: Vermont, agency: Court Side) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds and the former international power forward Alexandre Rodenbourg (202-91) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Basket Esch. Four Basket Esch players scored in double figures. Contern moved-up to seventh place. Basket Esch at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Amicale who have the same record. Basket Esch will play next round against league's leader Amicale trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Contern will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Residence in Bereldange.
