Regular Season Round 11: La Charite - Lorient 86-89

The most interesting game of round 11 in the NM1 was only three-point a home defeat of 6th ranked La Charite (6-5) to fifth ranked Lorient (7-4) 89-86 in the game for the fifth place. Lorient looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for guard Mathieu Bigote (190-84) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 6 assists. Naturalized Brazilian guard Clement Faroux (188-93) helped adding 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Jerrell Wright (203, college: La Salle) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and Montenegrin forward Milos Milosevic (201-89, college: Simon Fraser) scored 21 points. Four La Charite players scored in double figures. Lorient have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 7-4 record. Newly promoted La Charite keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Challans and RAC Basket. Lorient are looking forward to face SO Maritime Boulogne (#11) in Boulogne-sur-Mer in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. La Charite will play on the road against Aubenas (#13) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
