Regular Season Round 11: BLK Praha - Loko Trutnov 104-68

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked BLK Praha (8-3) rolled over at home 8th ranked LOKO Trutnov (3-8) 104-68 on Saturday. BLK Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to LOKO Trutnov's 42. BLK Praha forced 19 LOKO Trutnov turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American center Stephanie Madden (186-88, college: Langston) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Her fellow American import forward Kristi Bellock (185-90, college: Texas A&M) accounted for 31 points (perfect from the field making all thirteen shots !!!) for the winning side. Coach Martin Stavel's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Andrea Vackova (178-89) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Shawnte Goff (173-94, college: UTRGV) added 20 points respectively for LOKO Trutnov in the defeat. Four LOKO Trutnov players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for BLK Praha. They moved-up to third place, which they share with KP Brno. LOKO Trutnov lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. BLK Praha will meet at home Zabiny Brno (#6) in the next round. LOKO Trutnov will play against Basket Slovanka MB in Vodochody and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
