Regular Season Round 9: Plama Pur - Konjice 86-65

No shocking result in a game in Ilirska Bistrica where sixth ranked Plama Pur (4-4) smashed 11th ranked Konjice (2-6) 86-65 on Saturday. Power forward Robi Hrescak (203-92) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) chipped in 9 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. The best for the losing side was center Sandi Skrbinsek (205-90) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and forward Gasper Sevsek (198-93) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Plama Pur maintains sixth place with 4-4 record. Konjice lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Grosuplje and Pingvini. Plama Pur will meet league's leader Terme Olimia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Konjice will play against LTH Castings (#3) in Skofja Loka and hope to secure a win.
