Regular Season Round 12: Mykolaiv - Bipa Basket 83-51

The most important game in the last round took place in Mykolaiv between third ranked Bipa Basket (6-5) and fourth ranked Mykolaiv (6-5) on Saturday night. Bipa Basket was crushed by Mykolaiv on the road 51-83. Mykolaiv shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for swingman Denis Noskov (202-90) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Vladyslav Tonchenko (185-89) contributed with 10 points and 7 assists for the winners. Swingman Olexandr Belikov (201-92) replied with 10 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Klym Artamonov (185-93) added 4 points and 7 assists in the effort for Bipa Basket. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mykolaiv moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Bipa Basket. Mykolaiv is looking forward to face league's leader Dnipro in Dnepropetrovsk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bipa Basket will play on the road against the league's second-placed Budivelnyk in Kyiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
