Regular Season Round 7: Hoverla - KPZO DYUSH 99-50

Leader Hoverla blasted bottom-ranked KPZO DYUSH (0-5) in Ivano-Frankivsk 99-50 on Saturday evening keeping the perfect record after 7 rounds. KPZO DYUSH is still unable to win any game. The game without a history. Hoverla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding KPZO DYUSH to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Hoverla dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to KPZO DYUSH's 16. They outrebounded KPZO DYUSH 40-24 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Hoverla. They maintain second place with 5-0 record having 2 victories less than leader Dinamo-Bipa. KPZO DYUSH lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Hoverla will face again KPZO DYUSH (#6) in Dnepropetrovsk in the next round.
