ZBL round 11 most important game was a victory of KP Brno over 3rd placed Zabiny Brno 70-47 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Zabiny Brno. They outrebounded Zabiny Brno 52-27 including a 39-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international center Edita Sujanova (190-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds. The former international center Ilona Burgrova (194-84, college: S.Carolina) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four KP Brno players scored in double figures. Natalie Stoupalova (183-98) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and international guard Jana Hausknechtova (180-92) added 6 points and 4 assists in the effort for Zabiny Brno. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KP Brno (8-3) moved-up to third place, which they share with BLK Praha. Zabiny Brno at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. KP Brno is looking forward to face league's leader USK Praha at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zabiny Brno will play against BLK Praha (#3) and is hoping to win this game.
