Regular Season Round 11: Sokol HK - U19 Chance 85-50

Bottom-ranked U19 Chance is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 11th consecutive match to sixth ranked Sokol Hradec Kralove (7-3) 85-50 on Saturday evening. Sokol Hradec Kralove dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to U19 Chance's 30. Sokol Hradec Kralove forced 25 U19 Chance turnovers and had a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for forward Andrea Ovsikova (178-89) who led the winners and scored 16 points. International swingman Kristyna Minarovicova (174-91) accounted for 14 points for the winning side. Four Sokol Hradec Kralove players scored in double figures. Sokol Hradec Kralove's coach Romana Ptackova felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tereza Sipova (179-97) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds and guard Kristyna Tomsovicova (169-89) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for U19 Chance in the defeat. Sokol Hradec Kralove moved-up to fifth place. U19 Chance lost their eleventh game in a row. They still close the standings with 11 games lost. Sokol Hradec Kralove will meet at home SBS Ostrava (#11) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. U19 Chance will play against MK Technic in Brno and hopes to get finally their first victory.
