Regular Season Round 4: Good Angels - Lulea Basket 68-55

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Slovakian Good Angels as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Good Angels defeated 5th ranked Swedish Lulea Basket in Kosice 68-55. They outrebounded Lulea Basket 53-35 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Zuzana Zirkova (175-80) who scored 15 points. American guard Darxia Morris (172-89, college: UCLA) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. Good Angels' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Adrienne Motley (175-95, college: Miami, FL) who recorded 20 points and 4 assists and forward Anna Barthold (185-80, college: St.Peter's) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Defending Swedish champion Lulea Basket dropped to the fourth place with one game lost. Lulea Basket will play next round against Al Riyadi trying to get back on the winning streak. Good Angels will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
