Regular Season Round 11: Rocks - Piraten 95-55

Bottom-ranked Worthersee Piraten is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 11th consecutive match to eighth ranked Rocks (5-5) 95-55 on Sunday evening. Rocks dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Worthersee Piraten's 30. Rocks forced 24 Worthersee Piraten turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Worthersee Piraten's players. It was an exceptional evening for Italian guard Jan Nicoli (182-90) who led the winners and scored 11 points and 5 assists. Canadian center Corey Hallett (210-84, college: Monmouth, agency: Athleadz) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Rocks players scored in double figures. Rocks' coach Michael Coffin felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Kushtrim Dvorani (185-99) came up with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Lukas Simoner (190-99) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Worthersee Piraten in the defeat. Rocks moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Raiders. Worthersee Piraten lost their eleventh game in a row. They still close the standings with 11 games lost. Rocks will again meet bottom-ranked Worthersee Piraten (#12) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Worthersee Piraten will have a break next round.
