No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked ratiopharm Ulm (6-5) defeated at home 15th ranked Mitteldeutscher BC (3-8) 93-76 on Sunday. ratiopharm Ulm made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. Mitteldeutscher BC was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Jerrelle Benimon (203-91, college: Towson) who scored 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import swingman Ryan Thompson (198-89, college: Rider, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 16 points. Naturalized American forward Sergio Kerusch (195-89, college: W.Kentucky) produced 25 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Lamont Jones (183-90, college: Iona, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for ratiopharm Ulm.
