The former international guard Can Altintig (195-87) came up with 11 points and 7 assists and American Adonis Thomas (198-93, college: Memphis) added 14 points respectively for Banvit in the defeat. Four Banvit players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Sakarya BSB moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Darussafaka. Loser Banvit dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Sakarya BSB will meet higher ranked Anadolu Efes (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Banvit will play against Istanbul BBSK (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
