No shocking result in a game in Hod Hasharon where seventh ranked Hasharon (4-4) defeated 11th ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (2-6) 98-80. Hasharon players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by American forward Jordan Washington (203, college: Iona) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds and Yotam Shiran (198-90) supported him with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Hasharon's coach Hanan Hershkovich allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds by Eli Ben-Ami (-99) did not help to save the game for Hapoel Migd.H.. Point guard Neta Segal (188-95, agency: Dray Basketball Agency) added 19 points and 10 assists for the guests. Five Hasharon and four Hapoel Migd.H. players scored in double figures. Hasharon maintains seventh position with 4-4 record, which they share with Hapoel B/S. Hapoel Migd.H. at the other side dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. Hasharon's next round opponent will be higher ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (#5) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
