Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Brose Baskets (8-4) defeated 13th ranked Science City Jena (4-7) in Bamberg 80-71. Brose Baskets made 27-of-34 charity shots (79.4 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Science City Jena helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated also this game. The best player for the winners was forward Dorell Wright (206-85) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Augustine Rubit (201-89, college: S.Alabama) chipped in 12 points. Five Brose Baskets players scored in double figures. Brose Baskets' coach Andrea Trinchieri used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Julius Jenkins (187-81, college: Georgia South) who recorded 23 points and guard Skyler Bowlin (191-89, college: Missouri So.) added 16 points respectively. Brose Baskets have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Fraport SKY.
