Regular Season Round 11: Geneve Lions - Pully 95-73
Date: December 9, 2017

Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international Marko Mladjan (205-93) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Swedish point guard Thomas Massamba (183-85) accounted for 9 points and 8 assists for the winning side. Four Geneve Lions players scored in double figures. Power forward Badara Top (193-88, college: E.Utah JC) came up with 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Bahamas center Shaquille Cleare (203-93, college: Texas) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Pully in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Geneve Lions have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Lugano Tigers. Pully lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Geneve Lions will play against Swiss Central (#9) in Luzern in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pully will have a break next round.
