The game in Shumen supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked Chernomorets (2-6) played at the court of sixth ranked Shumen (3-5). Shumen smashed Chernomorets 121-77 on Sunday. Shumen forced 21 Chernomorets turnovers and had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Chernomorets' players. Swingman Anton Dikov (191-94) fired 28 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Point guard Nikola Nikolov (180-0) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Coach zvonko Papak's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Stoyan Milchev (185-95) produced 28 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Emil Dimov (190-81) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Shumen and four Chernomorets players scored in double figures. Shumen moved-up to fifth place in A. Loser Chernomorets dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
