Regular Season Round 13: Cento - Rimini 90-69

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Cento (12-1) outscored at home 13th ranked Rimini (4-9) 90-69 on Sunday. Cento made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. Naturalized Argentinian guard Sebastian Vico (190-86, agency: Players Group) stepped up and scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners and power forward Michele Benfatto (205-85) chipped in 16 points and 11 rebounds. Five Cento players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Giacomo Signorini (192-98, agency: Interperformances) responded with 19 points and guard Paolo Busetto (192-96) scored 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cento maintains first place in B with 12-1 record. Rimini lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Cento will face Reggio Emilia (#15) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Rimini will play against the league's second-placed Piacenza and hope to win that game.
