Semifinals Round 3: Metropolitanos - Cangrejeros 83-74

Metropolitanos defeated Cangrejeros to cut the deficit in the semifinal series. It was a good game for international swingman Cesar Garcia (193-90, agency: Pro Sports) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 5 assists. The former international center Alejandro Barrios (204-79) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Metropolitanos players scored in double figures. The former international forward Axiers Sucre (199-78) answered with 9 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Morris Sierralta (190-87) added 20 points in the effort for Cangrejeros. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
