PLK top team - MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (10-2) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat fifteenth ranked Czarni (4-9) 87-83. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 27-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza outrebounded Czarni 45-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was forward DJ Shelton (208-91, college: Washington St.) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Aaron Broussard (195-90, college: Seattle) chipped in 7 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Dominic Artis (192-93, college: UTEP) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and swingman Justin Watts (196-90, college: N.Carolina, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 18 points respectively for the guests. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for MKS Dabrowa Gornicza. They maintain first place with 10-2 record, which they share with Anwil. Czarni lost their seventh game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will meet at home Asseco (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Czarni will play against Miasto Szkla and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
