No shocking result in a game in Nanjing where fourth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (12-4) won against 16th ranked Eagles (4-12) 119-106. Jiangsu Dragons players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a very good performance for American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) who helped to win the game recording 42 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals. Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88) contributed with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Jiangsu Dragons players scored in double figures. American point guard Jonathan Gibson (188-87, college: N.Mexico St.) replied with 55 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international center Wei Su (212-89) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Eagles. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Jiangsu Dragons moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangsha L. Eagles at the other side keep the sixteenth position with 12 games lost. Jiangsu Dragons' next round opponent will be Gold Lions (#17) in Tianjin which should be an easy win for them. Eagles will play on the road against Monkey Kings in Jiangsu and hope to win that game.
