The game between Top Four teams took place in Orleans. Leader host Entente Orleans 45 (9-0) defeated second-best Lille Metropole (7-2) 102-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lille Metropole. The game without a history. Entente Orleans 45 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: Inception Sports) nailed 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Kyle McAlarney (183-87, college: Notre Dame) accounted for 20 points and 4 assists. Four Entente Orleans 45 players scored in double figures. Forward Rakeem Buckles (203-90, college: FIU) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Maurice Acker (176-87, college: Marquette) added 23 points and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively for Lille Metropole in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Entente Orleans 45 have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. Lille Metropole at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Aix-Maurienne (#13) in Aix-les-Bains in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Lille Metropole will play on the road against SPO Rouen (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
