Regular Season Round 13: Agustinos-Leclerc - Moron 63-75

Everything could happen in Leon at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Moron and 7th ranked Agustinos-Leclerc had identical 7-5 record. But Agustinos-Leclerc was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Morón de la Frontera 75-63. It looked good early as Agustinos-Leclerc took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. Then Moron had a 23-13 second period charge getting the lead and Agustinos-Leclerc was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-75. Worth to mention a great performance of Guinean forward Cheick-Sekou Conde (203-92) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Jose Jimenez (197-96) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Moron players scored in double figures. Slovenian forward Andraz Kavas (208-92, college: Harding, agency: Two Points) answered with 12 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Jose Medina (185-93) added 9 points and 5 assists in the effort for Agustinos-Leclerc. Agustinos-Leclerc's coach Jorge Alvarez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Moron (8-5) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Albacete. Agustinos-Leclerc at the other side keeps the seventh position with six games lost. Moron's next round opponent will be Fontedoso Carrefour (#8) in Avila. Agustinos-Leclerc will play on the road against Plasencia and hope to win that game.
