Regular Season Round 13: Nanterre - Chalon 93-82
Date: December 16, 2017
Very predictable result when seventh ranked JSF Nanterre (8-5) won against at home bottom-ranked Chalon/Saor (3-10) 93-82 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. JSF Nanterre made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Quite impressive performance for Nigerian power forward Alade Aminu (207-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: 3Eye) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Terran Petteway (198-92, college: Nebraska) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five JSF Nanterre players scored in double figures. JSF Nanterre's coach Pascal Donadieu allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Lance Harris (195-84, college: Kansas St.) answered with 24 points and naturalized Cameroonian Jeremy Nzeulie (188-91) added 16 points in the effort for Chalon/Saor. JSF Nanterre moved-up to third place, which they share with Le Mans and Strasbourg. Defending champion Chalon/Saor stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. JSF Nanterre will face ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Chalon/Saor will play against Boulazac Basket (#17) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
