Regular Season Round 10: Karpos Sokoli - Rabotnicki 61-99

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Skopje: Rabotnicki (#1) and Karpos Sokoli (#6). Karpos Sokoli was smashed at home by 38 points 61-99 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Rabotnicki dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Karpos Sokoli's 42. They outrebounded Karpos Sokoli 43-20 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rabotnicki looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Slavcho Temelkovski (200-0) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. Viktor Efremovski (191-98) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four Rabotnicki players scored in double figures. Rabotnicki's coach Marin Dokuzovski felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Andrej Anastasov (192-97) replied with 22 points and Ivan Sapundziev (196-95) added 19 points in the effort for Karpos Sokoli. Rabotnicki maintains first position with 9-1 record. Karpos Sokoli lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. Rabotnicki are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Strumica (#12) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Karpos Sokoli will play against Ohrid AV (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
