Very predictable result when seventh ranked Sakarya BSB (6-5) outscored at home 14th ranked Gaziantep (2-9) 79-57. Sakarya BSB dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Gaziantep's 20. 24 personal fouls committed by Gaziantep helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Nathan Boothe (206-94, college: Toledo) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import CJ Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest, agency: Pensack Sports) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Sakarya BSB's coach Selcuk Ernak felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Mark Lyons (185-89, college: Arizona, agency: Higher Vision Sports) came up with 16 points and 5 assists and Latvian Rolands Freimanis (208-88, agency: Alti Sport) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Gaziantep in the defeat. Sakarya BSB moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Darussafaka and Istanbul BBSK. Gaziantep at the other side dropped to the fifteenth position with nine games lost.
