Regular Season Round 13: Ostrava - Olomouc SK 100-41

Rather expected game when 10th ranked Olomouc SK (1-14) was smashed on the road by seventh ranked Ostrava (7-6) 100-41 on Sunday. Ostrava dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Olomouc SK's 26. Ostrava forced 19 Olomouc SK turnovers and outrebounded them 50-24 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Quite impressive performance for center Vaclav Bujnoch (200-93, college: Des Moines Area CC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. D Jakel contributed with 18 points for the winners. Five Ostrava players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman David Jilek (189-95) answered with 9 points and 5 rebounds and O Strubl added 9 points in the effort for Olomouc SK. Ostrava moved-up to third place in East, which they share with 3 other teams. Olomouc SK lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 14 games lost. Ostrava will face league's leader Kralovsti sokoli in Hradec Kralove in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Olomouc SK will play at home against the league's second-placed SKB Zlin (#2) and hope to win that game.
