Regular Season Round 19: Levice - Iskra Svit 79-71

An interesting game for Levice (14-5) which hosted in Levice 4th placed Iskra Svit (11-7). Third ranked Levice managed to get a 8-point victory 79-71. Levice players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a great evening for Slovenian guard Miha Vasl (192-92, agency: PEPI SPORT) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points. International center Boris Bojanovsky (217-93, college: Florida St.) helped adding 9 points and 13 rebounds. At the losing side American point guard A.J. Walton (184-90, college: Baylor, agency: Diamond Sports) responded with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals and Serbian power forward Vladimir Ivelja (204-88) scored 15 points. Levice maintains third place with 14-5 record having just three points less than leader Inter Bratislava. Iskra Svit at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Levice will play against Rieker KN (#6) in Komarno in the next round. Iskra Svit will play on the road against Prievidza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
