Regular Season Round 13: Den Bosch - Zwolle 87-65

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Den Bosch. Third ranked Den Bosch faced 4th placed Zwolle. Host Den Bosch (8-3) smashed guests from Zwolle (7-5) 87-65. It looked good early as Zwolle took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Den Bosch had a 27-15 second period charge getting the lead and Zwolle was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 65-87. They outrebounded Zwolle 40-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. Den Bosch players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Mike Miklusak (198-94, college: W.Illinois) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-94, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Five Den Bosch players scored in double figures. Den Bosch's coach Silvano Poropat felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Noah Dahlman (201-89, college: Wofford) answered with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Sherron Dorsey-Walker (193-93, college: Oakland) added 15 points in the effort for Zwolle. Den Bosch have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 8-3 record having just two points less than leader Leiden. Zwolle at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Den Bosch will play against Leeuwarden (#6) on the road in the next round. Zwolle will play against the league's leader Leiden and hopes to get back on the winning track.
