Regular Season Round 13: Usti n/Labem - BK Pardubice 78-77

The most exciting game of round 13 in the NBL took place in Usti nad Labem. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed BK Pardubice (8-4) to sixth ranked BK Usti nad Labem (7-6) 78-77 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of BK Pardubice. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when BK Usti nad Labem made 7 blocks. American guard Spencer Svejcar (193-94, college: Alaska-Anch., agency: Athleadz) stepped up and scored 18 points for the winners and forward Ladislav Pecka (197-91) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four BK Usti nad Labem players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Dominez Burnett (196-92, college: Davenport, agency: Higher Vision Sports) responded with 26 points and 6 rebounds and Slovakian Dusan Pandula (197-84) scored 13 points. BK Pardubice's coach Levell Sanders rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BK Usti nad Labem moved-up to fourth place, which they share with BK Decin and Svitavy. BK Pardubice at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. BK Usti nad Labem is looking forward to face BK Kolin (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BK Pardubice will play against NH Ostrava (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
