Regular Season Round 20: RCOP Tsmoki - GOCOR-Sozh 76-69

RCOP Tsmoki can celebrate finally their first win this season after 18 consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat GOCOR-Sozh (5-14) 76-69 on Friday. RCOP Tsmoki forced 20 GOCOR-Sozh turnovers and had a 36-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Daniil Barysevich (191-1) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds and Herman Plotnikau (193-0) who added 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. RCOP Tsmoki's coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Swingman Evgeniy Rybkin (195-96) responded with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and power forward Aleksandr Kopacev (203-95) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four GOCOR-Sozh players scored in double figures. Newly promoted RCOP Tsmoki maintains tenth position with 1-18 record. It was GOCOR-Sozh's eleventh loss in a row. They keep the eighth place with 14 games lost. RCOP Tsmoki will again meet at home higher ranked GOCOR-Sozh (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. GOCOR-Sozh will have a break next round.
